The drill operates in two modes thanks to the installed shock mechanism. In the first mode, an electric drill performs work on drilling holes in various materials such as wood, metal, plastic, etc. The second mode is designed for drilling holes, using a shock mechanism consisting of two ratchets that repel each other during the rotation of the spindle of the electric motor, allowing drilling work in the brick or concrete.
A power button with a higher cycle is applied from pressing, ensuring a long life of the electric drill. Depending on the trigger, the drill increases or decreases the number of rotations, allowing the drill to be used as a screwdriver where a small number of rotations are required. Also on the button is a regulator of rotations, for an optimum setting of the speed of rotation of the chuck.
The reverse located near the button is placed in such a way that it is convenient to change the direction of rotation of the chuck without effort during operation, without stopping the working process.
The lock is designed to lock the power button. If it is necessary to do the job for a long time, the operator does not need to constantly hold down the button.
A cam-type toothed-crown drill chuck is used. This type of chuck is easy to use; it provides reliable fixing of the tooling. Clamping of the shank is carried out with the help of a special key, which gives the optimum force for clamping the tooling. At the same time, the index of force when fixing the rig is higher than that of most quick-clamping chucks.
It is equipped with an electric motor with the use of a copper winding, which makes it possible to obtain a large power with small dimensions. To increase the service life and protection from external damage, the winding of the electric motor is covered with a special lacquer, which protects the winding from damage. For greater reliability, the varnish coating passes in several stages, the lacquer is applied in three layers, thus, besides the protection, the likelihood of varnish peeling decreases and decreases the likelihood of a current breakdown.
The basic electric drill is equipped with all the necessary accessories, such as an additional handle to ensure effort and comfort when drilling large holes for a long time and also the depth gauge, with which the required depth of drilling is set. A special key for the chuck and spare brushes, as the brushes are erased during operation and must be replaced to avoid damage to the collector.
Metallic gearbox case
A gearbox housing made of metal alloy is installed, for more reliable fixing of internal elements. This function increases the service of the drill. The gearboxes rotate at high speed, and this mechanism requires a good heat sink. The metal reducer perfectly copes with this task, providing long time of work of the tool with optimally working temperature.
